Back when I had spare time (that was before the critter that is on my back in this photo showed up), I used to spend most of it running (mainly cross-country but with the odd road race thrown in for variety), some of it reading (mainly historical fiction - though lately it's articles and books for my Chartership), and some of it walking around Hertfordshire where we live (I still do this one!). 

I'm also really interested in music of all varieties (well almost all - not too in to my R&B and don't get complicated jazz).
